Drawing of a pyramid with a treasure inside. (c) 1997 by Richard Loller

To the general reader:

Could it be that we never really felt sorry for the poor since we never really helped them in full? – I bet. People in Pakistan tell me they have stopped feeling sorry for the professional beggars. I do not disagree with them. The poor have a problem. No it is not called learned helplessness since this helplessness has no meaning unless you believe in it. All psychological disorders are of the same sort. Do not believe in psychologists, you will be very happy evermore.

I wrote a letter to the poor people of Pakistan. It was not published since nobody felt he could teach the poor, anything! Education is just another problem in a poor nation. Now I was talking of teaching the beggars in a language they were supposed to respect – the Word of God. I was talking also of free shelter-food Remembrance Centers where those that seemed underprivileged could be taken in twelve at a time for a period of two months to remember God and His superabundance. After all, they were saying God’s Name on the streets of Pakistan!

The Word of God – at a time like this, that’s all they know – that it is called the Word of God, but what solutions does it offer since it’s just a language in their minds? Since the time I have researched Islam, I have believed there is hardly any in Pakistan. Because if I were to know a religion real deep I would make Paradise with it for myself and for my brethren, for ever. No Muslim Paradise nowadays on Earth. Are most Muslim nations dreaming they are truly Muslim?

The letter I wrote was the beginning of our life in Paradise. I sent it to those that say Islam Islam and talk about obligatory duties on television. I asked them to read it to the poor. No sir, they will not do something they don’t even understand themselves since they limited God in their poor understanding. Poorer than the poor. They were well-read and illiterate at the same time. Could not open their eyes, were too afraid of the dark to get out of themselves and find light.

To my brethren acting poor:

You all know Kalima Tayyiba. Who is your God? Do you think?

The Lord of the Universe. The Richest King. What do you expect from the Richest King? Well, He didn’t even refuse the devil’s wish for respite in the beginning!

 Behold thy Lord said to the angels: I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud molded into shape;

When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him.

So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together:

Not so Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves.

(Allah) said: O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?

(Iblis) said: I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud molded into shape.

(Allah) said: Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed.

And the curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment.

(Iblis) said: O my Lord! give me then respite till the day the (dead) are raised.

(Allah) said: Respite is granted thee. (The Qur’an 15: 28-37)

The Richest King did breathe into Man to make him come alive. When this breath leaves the body, what is left?

He even asked the angels to bow before Man! What more could you have asked for? You are a privileged one, in fact.

Think about the Richest King once again. Do you think He will refuse the requests of those His breath runs inside? – No way!

And He gave you all that ye asked for. But if ye count the favors of Allah, never will ye be able to number them. Verily, man is given up to injustice and ingratitude. (The Qur’an 14:34)

You expect alms from ordinary people. Should the Richest, Most Just, Most Compassionate, Most Generous King chariot to your town, you know you would run after him and he would throw gold coins your way – as in the Arabian Nights.

The words I convey to you are from Heaven, and you must know that science is in total agreement with the Word of God as you have heard it is. It is the Truth from your Lord, thus it has to be in agreement with anything you know about Truth.

You may ask the Richest King for anything you want. Today, tomorrow, each day! He loves your prayers and grants them all.

What is poverty? – let us reflect. Who have you been unjust to? You have confused yourself, really. For God never meant for you to be poor! As a matter of fact you should be ever thankful to Him for telling you exactly what to believe in to get rid of despair for ever.

The evil one threatens you with poverty and bids you to conduct unseemly. Allah promiseth you his forgiveness and bounties. And Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things. (The Qur’an 2:268)

Allah is All-Beautiful and All-Good. So, meditate still on the meaning of Kalima Tayyiba. Uplift yourself, do not humiliate yourself. Turn to Allah: He will give you everything you want most honorably. You may have overflowing abundance in your life right now. You are responsible for yourself after all. Believe and Receive.

And He listens to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, and gives them increase of His Bounty: but for the Unbelievers there is a terrible Penalty. (The Qur’an 42:26)

Are you willing to believe now because it is the very best for you here and hereafter? The unfortunate are only those that have forgotten Him. You said His Name, did you understand what it meant?

That it is He Who giveth wealth and riches. (The Qur’an 53:48)

With Him, there is no problem, only solutions. Want to know more about Him?

No just estimate have they made of Allah, such as is due to Him: on the Day of Judgment the whole earth will be but His handful, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand: Glory to Him! High is He above the partners they attribute to Him. (The Qur’an 39:67)

He is your Lord, most certainly. Allah: The God. Be proud of Him evermore! Poverty ain’t His Name.

To the general reader:

I don’t feel sorry for the poor anymore and you know why. I realized that I was blessed beyond measure because I remembered God, so I started giving away to those poor people that remembered God. Possibly they will find certainty in their souls. The truth is: Most of Pakistan is poor and ignorant instead of Muslim as the media would say. They do not have faith, how could they find certainty?

As a sensitive one I went inside the mind of the average Pakistani, also the majority (the poor) to find that the mind was empty. On the street, then, the beggar is not truly concerned about himself although he pretends to be so. He has so much time, the lazy goof; yet he would not pass that time thinking of what is most important for his life. He is eyeing cars, eyeing people, waving at them, saying Give Me In Allah’s Name. He says to the rich: You are fortunate!

Coins of valueless metal – that is all he gets. He comes back asking for more. Is he satisfied with this life? What is he waiting for? In that state that he is, all answers are: No Nothing!

I believe God’s Words, so it is perfectly sane for me to expect a beautiful future, present, past. What is the beggar believing in? I do not want to know since we do not like his life, we do not want his place. He is not a model to revel in.

I understand that the world community is extra generous. Just look at it after a natural disaster. But why aren’t the people of Africa – always facing famines – not helped once and for all? Someone has to command them to think correctly, I believe. Just think correctly. World leaders are not super intelligent nowadays as they are not all-encompassing. One faithful one would do. Like Jesus like Jesus. For why would God create man in His image and why would God create a vicegerent, His representative on Earth, when He is the Only God? It is obvious that God resides in man, and the poor have given in to the devil.

That is why we help them with one coin here, one there. They get food alright. It is God’s decree that everyone will be provided for. It is also God’s decree to grant wealth and riches to all; would we have enough faith to receive? There is no choice for the poor except to believe, in my opinion. And, there are all degrees of faith. What the poor require is faith that never dwindles. In short, conviction. World leaders can lie. God does not.

How would ‘faith’ sound to a beggar? I wonder. On second thought, I do not require his consciousness, he requires mine.
